Sebastien Pierre is a collage artist and graphic designer currently living between Atlanta, GA, and Brooklyn, NY. While studying at the Pratt Institute, his interest in found objects lead him to collect all sorts of magazines, newspapers, trash, and other printed material found around the city. He cut out and scanned the pieces he loved the most, but soon found the random assortment of words and images to be beautiful and somewhat introspective at times. Eventually, he would arrange his daily findings into the collage series we see now. 

This process of searching for discarded newspapers and magazines has become part of the work. Finding, deconstructing, and recontextualizing popular media allows the artist to reinterpret and often critique the world around him.
