Miranda Lichtenstein holds a BA from Sarah Lawrence College and an MFA from CalArts. Solo exhibitions have been held at the UCLA Hammer Museum, Los Angeles; the Whitney Museum of American Art at Philip Morris, New York; The Gallery at Hermes, New York and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Tucson, AZ. She has been included in group exhibitions at the Guggenheim Museum, New York; the Hirshhorn Museum, Washington, DC; the New Museum of Contemporary Art, New York; the Baltimore Museum of Art, the Renaissance Society, Chicago and MASS MoCA, North Adams, among others. Lichtenstein lives and works in Brooklyn, NY and is an Associate Professor at Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University.
