TINA HAGE . Universal Pattern
Here is a collection of images which I have taken from various different series of works that I have made over the years. The images all depict re-enactments made by myself with myself of iconic social, political and historic events based on found news imagery. Something that all these works share, is that they are all influenced by events which appear to re-occur in history. I feel that events like the 2008 Stock market Crash (and the ensuing Financial Crisis), the G20 protests in 2009, the swine flu pandemic (also in 2009) as well as the 2011 refugee crisis document the time that they are from, but also the cycles that repeat in human history.
