“Amanda is an angelical being, she is a dragonfly...” — Salvador Dali

“.. A woman of many talents. I love the portrait she did of me.” — Elton John

“Amanda's single is fabulous! It's called 'Star' and Amanda will be just that in a little while. It's about time we had another lady star!” — David Bowie

Photographed by the world’s most renowned photographers (Mapplethorpe, Bailey, Horst, Pierre et Gilles, ..), cover model for Roxy Music’s album “For Your Pleasure,” lover of Brian Jones and David Bowie, muse of Salvador Dali for two decades, Amanda Lear is a legend.

Amanda Lear’s passion for art started at the tender age of 16. She went to l’Académie des Beaux Arts in Paris to study painting, before joining the famous St Martins School of Art in London in 1964.  After this, Amanda patiently worked with Salvador Dalí and studied in his workshop. Dalí showed her his technique and guided her through the great museums of the world with his own personal view of the achievements of the old masters. Throughout her successful modeling, singing and acting career, Amanda Lear continued to draw and paint and as of 1981 started to show her work on a regular basis.
