Lena Brazin’s figurative paintings embrace paradoxes. They explore the seen and the unseen, attempting to materialise immateriality, to reflect the fullness of human existence. Brazin paints the inseparable physical and spiritual worlds, combining metaphysical beings with people and objects from lived experiences. Brazin’s work is surprising and vital, representing an essential way of understanding the contemporary self.
